Marriage of 2002

This weekend kicked off in Wolverhampton by learning a song that has previously been covered in Solihull. It was Anne-Marie’s 2002. There were a few fast sections to the song which were slightly more difficult, however with plenty of practice, the group eventually managed to sign along to the whole song, which was very impressive! Well done team!

After a very busy class in Wolverhampton, we took an upbeat and romantic song over to Solihull. Of course, we learnt Bruno Mars’ Marry You. We split the group into two teams to learn this song, and you both performed to one another. It was really interesting to see the different interpretations and how well you all did translate the song. I then went and taught my version at the end, which only had a few changes to the group’s. Well done team!

This weekend also marked the final day of our first birthday celebrations. Which meant the last free class giveaways! Caroline was lucky enough to win a second time over in Wolverhampton, and Dan was our lucky winner in Solihull. Well done to you both!

Fancy learning some signs?

I love to sign, it's a beautiful language, and everybody should learn at least the basics.
